Sandeep Parkar, the owner of the house, told the Herald the car was driven by PSI Ashish Satodkar stationed at the Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula. He said the cop was heading from Ponda towards Khandepar and lost control at Opa Junction, veering into the wrong lane and then crashing into the house.
Parkar checked the car and found it had dark tinted windows, no pollution certificate, and the vehicle’s insurance had expired.
