Narrow house

ROBERT L. MARONIC: What’s next for the venerable and beloved Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi?

On Tuesday, November 8, Americans will vote for the 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate. According to the pro-democrats New York Times on October 24, “everything from a Democratic sway in the Senate and a narrow majority in the House, to a total republican rout [my emphasis] becomes imaginable. ” According Reuters on October 25, “The White House has scaled back its earlier optimism about the midterm elections, and is now concerned that Democrats could lose control of both houses of Congress [my emphasis] ….”

These two polls are even more dismal for Democrats. According to a Rasmussen poll conducted on October 27, “48% of Georgia [sic] voters [sic] would vote for the Republican, Herschel Walker, while 43% would vote to re-elect the Democrat, Senator Raphael Warnock.

According to an Insider Advantage poll conducted Oct. 26, in a “survey of 750 likely Pennsylvania voters…” which “has a margin of error of 3.58%,” 48% of those voters favored Republican Dr. Mehmet. Oz against 45% for Democratic Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman.

After watching the commendable (and thankfully ONLY) Oz-Fetterman debate on October 25, it’s painfully obvious that Fetterman clearly needs to be either in a stroke assisted retirement home or a uxorial-supervised convalescent home and NOT the US Senate. I don’t need a graduate degree in medicine or medicine to understand that Fetterman is not a healthy man and that his medical problems appear to be much more serious than he publicly states.

I sincerely hope that Fetterman, who was the irresponsible former mayor of the tiny, economically depressed village of Braddock, Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2019, which lies nine miles southeast of Pittsburgh with a shrinking population of 1,700 inhabitants, has no permanent brain damage.

It strongly seems that the democratic control of the House of Representatives and the Senate since January 3, 2019 is coming to an end; a Republican defeat of the Democrats seems imminent according to the polls. It also strongly appears that most Democratic House or Senate candidates campaigning with Biden are the kiss of death, to put it mildly; and to make matters worse for the Democratic Party’s future manipulation of social media, Elon Musk, the “Twit leader,” bought Twitter on October 27. The famous little blue bird has finally been released from his golden Democratic “cage”.

Most middle-class and low-income Americans are primarily concerned about the country’s high inflation over the past forty years, particularly the rising cost of food, fuel, electricity, rent, and some gas. My personal food expenditure has increased by at least 15% to 20% in the last twelve months so whoever calculated the consumer price index at 8.2% for September 2022 is less than truthful and an insult to my intelligence. As Mark Twain once said in 1907, “There are three kinds of lies: lies, fucking lies, and statistics.”

Middle-class and low-income Americans are also very concerned about the unprecedented illegal immigration of 2.76 million illegal immigrants, who crossed our southwestern border in fiscal year 2022. Fiscal year 2021 was almost as bad. Biden, the absent border czar, allowed this to happen so that illegal immigrant labor could be exploited by unscrupulous and corrupt Democratic crony capitalists, and turn Texas blue.

Most Americans are disgusted with Biden’s total indifference to fentanyl deaths, chronically high urban crime rates in all a major American city as well as our expensive, dangerous and “just” proxy war with Russia in Ukraine; and to make matters worse, the thirty-year mortgage interest is now 7.08%, making buying a home much more expensive compared to Biden’s inauguration on January 20, 2021.

Middle-class and low-income Americans are especially concerned about the “credit card” (BoA/MBNA) Joe’s deep cognitive decline, which is really getting worse week by week. Biden said on Nov. 1 he spoke once with the inventor of insulin except for Frederick Banting, who ‘discovered’ insulin, who died Feb. 21, 1941 while the president was born Nov. 20, 1942 !

Biden’s cognitive decline was also embarrassingly shown on September 28 at the White House Food, Nutrition and Health Conference when he infamously asked the podium where deceased Rep. Jackie was physically. Walorski (R-IN), died August 3. NBC News mendaciously explained its mistake as a “blunder” while Biden’s press secretary foolishly said Rep. Walorksi was simply “leading.”

I would strongly suspect that Xi Jinping of Communist China and Vladimir Putin of Russia viewed Biden’s senile remarks as NONE’s priority.

In my opinion, Biden’s lethargic three-second sissified jog on the White House South Lawn at Marine One doesn’t impress me. His doctors at the White House and Walter Reed Hospital are a national disgrace, and everyone should have their medical license reviewed by the Board of Medicine or doctors in Washington DC or Maryland.

I predict that the Republicans will regain control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The only question will be how many seats will the Republicans win on November 8?

Whether Democrats are having a beating in Congress, there is going to be a strong desire to find a scapegoat for their midterm election year debacle. I expect them to be the scapegoat for Biden’s lack of presidential leadership, which could lead his cabinet to invoke either the 25e Amendment (Section 4) or force him to resign due to possible impeachment in 2023 for his constitutional dereliction of duty (Article IV, Section 4) on our southwestern border and for other reasons.

I predict Biden will quickly become yesterday’s news, but not his son Hunter’s political scandals. Biden himself will likely defend himself on the legal basis of senility.

If Vice President Kamala Harris becomes President, who will become the next Vice President of the United States? Harris will definitely need a politician who has a lot of gravitas similar to how George W. Bush badly needed Dick Cheney in 2000. Harris, who is both a relative political novice as a former junior senator from California from 2017 to 2021, which lacks foreign policy experience, would also need a vice president with deep knowledge of Washington politics.

Could his VP pick be Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY)? I doubt. Could it be RINO Rep Liz Cheney (R-WY)? I doubt. Could it be Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)? I sincerely doubt it because she is only 33, two years younger than the age of 35 required by the Constitution (Article 2, Section 1). Plus, while she’s an articulate and attractive politician with national political ambitions, she’s an Amazon job-killing congresswoman and overrated loudmouth beachhead. So who could it be?

I boldly predict, and I’ll bet a Yankee dollar, that Harris will choose State of the Union tear-off Nancy Pelosi, who is currently running second in the presidency, as the next Vice President of the United States before 3 January 2023. Pelosi could become Italy’s next ambassador, but she’s small fry and she’s hungry for power. Her post as ambassador can easily wait until January 20, 2025. Until then, octogenarian Nancy will surely need an extended rest near Lake Como in Lombardy when she is not engaging in diplomacy. in Rome.

A Harris and Pelosi “squad” would be the ultimate “woman power” team in US history, for good or ill. However, I suspect that the president, whom I greatly admire for her courageous visit to Taiwan last August 2-3, and her past support for Tibet, would be much more co-president or de facto president than Dick Cheney ever was. when he was vice president from 2001 to 2009 because of Pelosi thirty five years experience in Congress. She knows Washington like the back of her hand and knows figuratively where all the bodies are buried.

Moreover, a President Harris would badly need his advice. I suspect the Las Vegas bookies are already taking bets. Stay tuned.
