(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a meeting for possible solution concepts and providing input on future safety and access needs along the Highway 10 corridor from 15th Avenue South- east to St. Cloud and Hwy 24 to Clear Lake.
The appointment is set for The town hall of Havre Wednesday, November 9. According to the project’s website, the MnDOT says the study will analyze current and future demographics, land use, development, maintenance operations, road and drainage conditions, safety data and public feedback to support recommended improvements. Officials say they aim to develop a safe, efficient and accessible highway for all users with destinations along, through or through this area.
They have already been made aware of the problems of drivers and users, such as the lack of acceleration lanes, narrow shoulders, short turning lanes, frequent traffic jams, especially during the summer months, slippery places in winter and trains causing back-ups and blockages. .
The appointment is from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
